Sometimes you will see duplicate browser/page objects are created while recording against a Web application in spite of having all the properties same inside Object repository. For ex: You may find PageName_1, Browser_1 added inside Object repository when you are recording against same application. To get rid of this problem perform the following steps:

1. Go to Tools -> Options.
2. Select the Web tab.
3. Click <Page/Frame Options>.
4. For the “Create a new Page test object” section, select the Different
   URLs or a change in data transfer radio button and set or clear the
   options as specified below:
   Set these options:
   • Ignore non user-input data – Get
   • Ignore non user-input data – Post
   • Ignore user-input data – Get
   • Ignore user-input data – Post
5. Clear this option: Use additional information of Page/Frame
6. Repeat step 4 for the “Create a new Frame test object” section.
7. Click <OK> to close the dialogs
