You might find that your application looks almost the same in every browser but in Google Chrome it looks different. For instance,you might find that the users are able to resize textboxes of your application or an orange border appearing when the text is highlighted, even though you have not written any code to provide these functionalities.
In my application I had given blue border to textboxes on focus but it was not being rendered. The reason is that since Google Chrome is using CSS outline property to highlight the textbox, it was hiding the textbox border style.
If we dont want not these default features provided by Google Chrome, then we have to override the default styles given.
To make sure that the textarea is not resizeable even in Google Chrome, we have to set its resize property to none
In the same way, to remove the default Orange highlighting,we need to set its outline property to none
