Adobe Extension Manager CC doesn’t list installed CC applications instead it shows one entry “Others”.
One cannot install any extensions (zxp) using the Extension Manager CC.
Extension Manager creates an internal sqlite database called ExMan.db to bookkeep all configuration information.
It contains a list of tables to store all information about CC applications and extensions.
One pertinent table is the Tb_ProductInfoV2 that contains a list of all CC applications installed in that machine.
Somehow if the database is not properly created it causes mayhem.
How to resolve:
This is the scenario wherein even reinstalling the Extension Manager CC doesn’t resolve anything.
Step 1: Delete the internal db file ExMan.db from the location /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Configuration/DB
Most probably, the db file would be locked and one cannot delete the file. To get rid of it, open the Activity Monitor and close all the Adobe related processes. And then delete the db file (even from Trash/Bin)
Step 2: Restart machine
Step 3: Open Extension Manager CC to see all installed CC applications. Done.
NOTE: This is for Macintosh, and for Windows one can delete the same DB file and follow the above steps.
The ExMan.db can be located in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CC\Configuration\DB
